Modular Triangles: 49

[Modular Triangles]

Each of the triangular boxes shown on this page was made from six sheets of traditional origami paper measuring 5 7/8 inches (15 cm) square. The lid of each box was assembled from three units and the base of each box was also assembled from three units, with each unit folded from one sheet of paper.

Since triangular boxes require fewer units than most other modular boxes, they can be constructed more quickly, and they provide a good opportunity to use up odd sheets of origami paper left over from other projects.
