Comments: | Triangular boxes from Tomoko Fuse's Fabulous series, like the ones shown here, are typically a bit sturdier than her Plain-Style triangles, but they are also more challenging to create. The Unryu paper featured here was a joy to use. It is just the right weight (neither too soft nor too stiff), it takes creases neatly, and it comes in a variety of beautiful patterns and solid colors. "Unryu" can be literally translated as "cloud dragon paper" and it is made by adding long swirling fibers to basic kozo (mulberry) pulp. These fibers look like wispy clouds floating through the paper. |
