The self-closing boxes shown on this page do not have a separate lid and base. The whole structure of each box is formed from a single sheet of paper.
These boxes are opened or closed by manipulating four flaps which overlap in various ways. In some cases, a decorative rosette has been added as a lid stopper to make the closure more secure.
Double-sided paper usually works best for the box styles shown here.
