Comments:The paper used to create this box was ideal for the purpose. It was slightly thicker and stiffer than most origami paper, but still thin enough to fold easily and take creases neatly. The resulting box is both lovely and sturdy.

The lid of this box has been ornamented by putting a straight pin with a decorative black head through the hole in a red-dyed coral bead and then inserting the pin in the top of the spire.
