Comments:These tiny boxes are challenging to construct, but their size makes them perfect for presenting small jewelry gifts such as a ring or a pair of earrings.

For this group of boxes, I cut down some larger sheets of origami paper, with each 5 7/8 inch (15 cm) square sheet yielding four smaller sheets, each approximately 3 inches (7.5 cm) square.

I tried to be very careful while cutting down this paper, but some of my smaller sheets were not perfectly square, which made for some imprecise folds, resulting in units that did not fit together perfectly. This problem can be avoided by more care when cutting down larger sheets or by purchasing pre-cut origami paper in the 3 inch square size.
