| Comments: | The boxes shown here are Tomoko Fuse's variations on the traditional origami masu box. They feature triangular flaps which can be used to close a box by tucking them into an attractive fastener, called a stopper .
Two of the boxes are cubes with a strip stopper; this third is a shallow box with a wedge stopper.
The interiors of these boxes have been enhanced by the insertion of a liner, which both neatens the appearance of the box and also strengthens it.
These sturdy packages work well for gift-giving. I used them to contain small birthday gifts for my great-nieces. |
