Comments:The boxes shown here are made from double-sided paper with a beautiful design on one side and a solid color on the other.

The design side of the paper features the traditional Japanese botanical motifs of cherry blossoms, plum blossoms, and bamboo leaves, along with the traditional Japanese geometric motifs of kagome (woven bamboo pattern) and koshi (checkerboard pattern).

I encountered one problem with this lovely paper. Along sharp creases, and at the intersections of multiple creases, the printed surface of the paper tends to break through so that the white core of the paper shows. This can happen on both sides of the paper but is more noticeable on the solid color side.
