Comments: | My online dictionary defines Hanabishi as a flower-shaped family crest. On kimono fabrics, Hanabishi is a pattern of four flower petals in a diamond shape. Note that double-sided paper works best for this lid style because the reverse side of the paper is revealed in the flower petals. The bright colors and exuberant floral patterns on these boxes make them perfect containers for a Mother's Day gift, or you could use them as favors at a summer garden party. Compartments have been created in these boxes by the insertion of an X-shaped divider in the base. |
