Sheet Size:15.25 cm (6 in) Square
Sheets Used:8 (Lid - 4; Base - 4)
Paper Source: Michaels Stores
Comments:This scrapbook paper was bought as a pad of 12 inch square sheets, then cut down to 6 inch squares; it is a bit harder to work with than regular origami paper because it is heavier and stiffer.

Each box shown here required 8 of the 6 inch square sheets: 4 to make the lid and 4 to make the base.

These boxes are part of a set of 12, with each box representing a different month of the year. After filling each box with small gifts (like balloons, crayons, stickers, store and restaurant gift cards), I gave the whole set to my niece for her birthday. I suggested that she open each box as its month arrived, so that she could have a whole year of fun.
