Comments:This cute little star-shaped box was made from a single pentagonal sheet.

The designer's video demonstrates how to cut a pentagon from a square sheet. You could also make and use a pentagon template.

Double-sided paper works best for this model, since some of the reverse side of the paper is visible on the sides and bottom.

Star boxes like this one make perfect party favors at the holidays. They can also be strung in garlands, hung as Christmas tree ornaments, or used to create mobiles.

You can make a nice decoration by placing a small, battery-operated tea light in one of these stars -- but never use real candles due to fire hazard.
