Arts & Crafts Show -- May 25, 2025 -- Charlotte Harbor Event Center, Punta Gorda, FL
Teresa's origami was on display at an indoor Arts & Crafts Show at the Charlotte Harbor Convention Center in Punta Gorda, FL, on Sunday, May 25, 2025. This show was put on by the Local Ladies Social Network, Inc.* As usual, Teresa offered her origami items as a fundraiser. All donations received were contributed to the Peace River Wildlife Center, in order to help with that organization's recovery from hurricanes Helene and Milton. PRWC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit wildlife rehabilitation and education center. They receive no government funding, so donations are essential to support their mission. If you were not able to attend the Arts & Crafts Show, you can make an online donation to the Peace River Wildlife Center at any time through their web site: https://prwildlife.org* As someone who has frequently visited the PRWC facility on many occasions over the years, first with her children and more recently with her grandchild, Teresa has always been impressed by the important work being done by this organization. Please consider helping them with a donation soon. ![]() |

2025 Spring Arts & Crafts Show -- March 30 -- Bradenton Area Convention Center, Palmetto, FL
Teresa offered her origami as a fundraiser for ChildFund International at a Spring Arts & Crafts Show on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the
Bradenton Area Convention Center*, 1 Haben Blvd., Palmetto, FL. Teresa has been sponsoring children through ChildFund for over fifty years. Currently she is sponsoring a young girl in India and young boy in Brasil. However, donations made at this event were not used to cover Teresa's monthly sponsorships. All donations received were sent to ChildFund separately in support of that organization's special projects and most urgent needs. Sponsoring a child is easy to do and it's a very rewarding experience. If you are not already involved in this type of activity, please consider getting started. The wonderful letters you will receive from your sponsored child, along with photos and school reports, will let you see your child's progress very clearly. Other than direct volunteer work, there are few other forms of charitable giving which allow you to have such a close, personal connection to the people you are helping. You really can change the world -- one child at a time. ![]() |
