Comments:These neat little cube-shaped boxes take their name from the wicker boxes traditionally used in Japan for storing kimono and accessories.

Each origami tsuzura box shown here was constructed using two sheets of paper for the lid and two sheets for the base. Tsuzura are the easiest and quickest to make of the various square boxes presented on this site.
The paper used to make this set of boxes was a gift from my friend Marcianna.
