Comments: | Several variations of Tomoko Fuse's basic Hanabishi box are shown here, including her Double Petals A and B, and my own "tweak" of her design.. My online dictionary defines Hanabishi as a flower-shaped family crest. On kimono fabrics, Hanabishi is a pattern of four flower petals in a diamond shape. Note that double-sided paper works best for Hanabishi variations because the reverse side of the paper is revealed in the flower petals. |
