| Comments: | The boxes in this set would be ideal for presenting small jewelry gifts at the holidays -- or perch them on the branches of a Christmas tree as colorful, shimmery decorations.
Combining single-sided foil with chiyogami washi was a little challenging because the foil was so thin and fragile compared to the thicker, stronger washi paper. However, the embossed foil used here was more forgiving then unembossed foil because the embossing does help to hide fingerprints and fingernail scratches which can easily mar regular foil. |
