Comments:The boxes in this set are irregular hexagons: they have six sides, but the sides are not all equal, as in a regular hexagon.

Here the boxes have four longer sides of equal length and two shorter sides of equal length -- a shape often called a prism.

Instead of being constructed from six identical units, like the regular hexagons, these prism lids are assembled from two Module A units and two Module B units. The same is true of the prism bases.

Module A has been made from one type of paper and Module B from another, creating an attractive contrast. Double-sided paper works best, as the reverse sides of the sheets are revealed in the interior of the box.

An inner liner has sometimes been added to the base, the lid, or both. This liner helps to strengthen the box and also makes the inside look nicer, especially if modules are made from single-sided paper.
