Comments: | Double-sided paper works best for octagons; the single-sided paper used here produces a base with a rather plain-looking interior. For this set of boxes, the floor of each base has been enhanced by inserting a removable liner of soft red or green felt. The felt liners improve the appearance of the interiors and make these boxes more suitable for holding jewelry or other fragile items -- nice gift boxes for the Christmas season, thanks to the red and green color scheme. |
