Comments: | Double-sided paper, as used here, yields the best looking results for this style of box. My friend Marcianna gave me this fun paper which has stars on one side and a complementary solid color on the reverse. Little kids will love these starry boxes. Fill them with candy to use them as party favors at a birthday or holiday party. The folding and joining of units for octagonal boxes is complex. The octagon base is especially difficult. Of all the modular origami boxes featured on this site, the octagons are probably the most challenging to create. |
