Comments: | Although double-sided paper works best for octagonal boxes, single-sided paper can also be used effectively, as shown here. If there is some white in the pattern of the paper used for a Little Flower lid, then the fact that the reverse (plain white) side is exposed in some spots can enhance the appearance of the lid rather than detracting from it. The interior of the base is very plain-looking when single-sided paper is used. However, this can be remedied by inserting a liner or adding decorative stickers. This set of boxes features both of those approaches. |
