Comments: | Tomoko Fuse's Octagon Clematis is one of my favorite designs for holiday gift boxes. By using double-sided paper with bright colors and a glossy surface, it is possible to create something very fancy and festive. I have enhanced the flowers on these lids by adding some stamens which I created by rolling and curling a few scraps of paper left over from other projects. I used a little glue to hold the stamens in place. This type of box is somewhat time-consuming to make because of the number of units required, but the extra effort is truly worthwhile because the final result is so attractive and sturdy. |
