| Comments: | The three larger boxes in this set have lids based on Tomoko Fuse's Triangle Lid Starter 1. To make any of these, you begin with the same sequence of folds, up to Step 31, which produces Triangle Lid Starter 1. From that point on, the folding steps vary in order to create different lid styles.
Tomoko's book includes instructions for six lid styles based on Triangle Lid Starter 1. Three are shown here and others appear elsewhere on this site.
The two smaller boxes in this set are completely unrelated to Triangle Lid Starter 1. These tent-like lids are very easy to make, entailing only 15 folding steps in all. Although the ones shown here are very small, this design can also be executed in larger sizes, as shown elsewhere on this site. |
