| Comments: | The beautiful boxes in this set of non-modular triangles were inspired by my acquisition of some traditional kagayaki yuzen origami paper in 8 x 10.6 inch ( 20.3 by 26.9 cm) sheets.
Although Tomoko Fuse specifies A4 size paper (210 mm by 297 mm) for these types of boxes, her instructions do allow for significant adjustments to the dimensions of the starting sheet, so I felt sure my new paper would work.
In Japanese, "kagayaki" means "radiance" -- and this paper certainly does shine! Some of my sheets had a gold metallic background and others had silver. This set of boxes features the silvery paper.
The two boxes in the top row have lids based on Tomoko's Triangle Lid Starter 1. The three boxes in the bottom row have lids based on her Triangle Lid Starter 2. |
