Comments:In Italian, these Little Crown Bowls are called Scatola Coroncina.

The bottom of this type of bowl has an octagonal shape -- but when viewed from the top, the rim has a nice round shape, so I have categorized the Little Crown Bowl as round rather than octagonal.

Double-sided paper is a must when folding this style of bowl because so much of the reverse side of the paper is exposed in the finished model.

Little Crown Bowls are cute, sturdy, and not difficult to fold. Filled with sweets or small snacks, they make nice party favors -- or keep one on your bureau to hold jewelry and other trinkets.
