| Comments: | The interior rims of these round bowls feature eight little hearts, so they are perfect as Valentines Day party favors. Fold one for each guest and fill them with sweets.
I found the shaping of the little hearts to be the most challenging aspect of making this model. Initially, I tried using a 15 cm (5.9 in) square sheet of paper and got very frustrated. Using a larger sheet of paper was easier -- my hearts came out looking much better -- but I still need some more practice to get them just right.
Double-sided paper is a must when folding these bowls because the reverse side of the paper is revealed in the hearts and also in the star-shape at the center of the bowl's interior. |
