Comments:These round bowls with compartments are a traditional Japanese model which I have seen in many different origami books.

Tomoko Fuse calls this model a Paint Brush Rinsing Pot in her book, but you will also find it described as a Lazy Susan, or as a Five Happiness Bowl, by other authors.

If you use a large sheet of paper to make this type of bowl, the compartments will be big enough to accommodate many types of candies and snacks.

One of these bowls would also make a nice desk accessory to hold paper clips, rubber bands, staples, push pins, etc.

Double-sided paper works best for this model, as the reverse side of the paper is revealed along the sides and bottom of these bowls.
