Comments:Three different lid styles are featured in this set of pyramidal boxes. There are three lids with petals, one with a pointed tip, and one with a curled tip -- all on the same style of base.

Tomoko Fuse's book includes instructions for two styles of pyramidal base: one which is deeper (profonde) and one which is shallower (peu profonde). I prefer the latter, as used here.

These bases have a liner which is functional, not just decorative. The liner is needed to lock some interior flaps in the base and to strengthen its floor.

These boxes have a charming elfin quality, but are not practical for gift-giving because the lids do not fit securely. Filled with small candies, they would make cute favors at a party for kids.
