Comments:This set of boxes features fall colors -- deep red, bright orange, yellow-orange, gold, and olive green.

I was inspired by receiving a new Fiskars paper punch which produces beautifully filigreed maple leaves. Some of these punched-out leaves appear on the lid of one of the boxes shown here.

In this set, the most challenging box to create was the Concave Star (top row, far left).

I had succeeded in making this lid style previously with other types of paper, but I ran into trouble here with some cotton rag paper.

This soft, flexible paper would not hold a crease well. Its shiny, slippery surface was also a problem. The whole Concave Star structure kept falling apart. In the end, I had to resort to applying glue (horrors!)
