| Comments: | I learned how to make these cute double-hearted party plates during an Origami Connect class taught by the designer. The class was presented via Zoom by OrigamiUSA on Februrary 5, 2022.
The overall shape of these plates is rectangular/oblong, but I have categorized them as heart-shaped because of how the clever color change in this model creates two big hearts inside each plate and two small hearts on the outside.
Due to the importance of the color change effect, double-sided paper is a must when making this model.
These plates will nest neatly for storage and they are so easy to fold that you could quickly produce a large number of them for a Valentine's Day party, bridal shower, wedding, anniversary, baby shower, or any celebration of love. |
