Comments: | The type of box shown here is very easy to make until the final step where a flat heart shape is formed into a three-dimensional structure. I found that last step a bit tricky, but watching Leyla Torres demonstrate it in her video was a big help . After I had done it once, I was able to do it again very easily without referring back to the video. Double-sided paper works best for this style of box, since so much of the reverse side of the paper is visible in the finished model. The interiors of these boxes are cubic but their outer edges create a delightful heart shape -- perfect to use as decorations or favors at a Valentines Day party. When made from 15cm (5.9 in) paper, as here, each Deep Love box is just the right size to hold a single delicious bonbon. |
