Comments:These non-modular diamond-shaped boxes are fairly easy to make and reasonably sturdy, especially when made with scrapbook paper as here.

Tomoko Fuse recommends A4 (297 mm x 210 mm) paper, but other sizes of rectangular sheets may be used to create boxes of various dimensions.

The height of the box may be adjusted by changing the position of a single fold early in the folding steps. Note that one box shown here is much shallower than the two others in this set.

There is one thing I dislike about this box style: the inner flaps do not lock down tightly. They usually stay in place, but can come loose. If this bothers you, a dab of rubber cement will fix the problem.
