Comments:Three different versions of Mark Bolitho's Lena box are shown here. His regular Lena is at top left and bottom right. His Lena variation in which the triangular point is not twisted and flattened is at top right and bottom left.

In the center of both rows is my own variation on the Lena design, which entails sinking the apex of the triangular point, but without twisting it or flattening it out completely. This sinking maneuver creates a decorative element shaped like a four-pointed star, standing up from the surface of the lid.

Bolitho's unflattened Lena box is easier to make than the regular Lena. The final twist-and-flatten step required for the regular Lena box is rather challenging to execute correctly, especially if you are working with very crisp or very stiff paper.
