| Comments: | These boxes can be found in the French translation of one of Tomoko Fuse's books, where this style is called " boîte masu á rabats" -- masu box with flaps.
Lids could easily be added, but these boxes look great without lids. The flaps create an interesting shadow-box effect.
For a cute gift-giving idea, tuck some crumpled tissue paper, confetti, or "Easter grass" into the box before nestling a bonbon, rose bud, or small jewelry item in it.
Note that all of the boxes shown here were made from paper sheets of the same size. The differences in box depth and width were achieved by making slight modifications in one fold, not by varying the sheet size. |
