Comments:These boxes were designed by Tomoko Fuse, who calls them bowls. She provides instructions for a standard size bowl, along with three sizes wider/shallower than standard, and two sizes narrower/deeper than standard.

The graduated sizes, which allow for nesting the bowls, are achieved by adjustments during the folding process, not by changing the size of the sheet of paper used.

Two bowls can become a box by covering one bowl with an inverted bowl of a wider size.

In the side view image at left, I have shown several different ways to mix and match the set of four bowls featured here.

In the upper left corner of the side view image, you can see two boxes with a snug fit between lid and base. In the lower half of the side view image, the fit between lid and base is looser, with the lid slightly overhanging the base.

These lamp-shaped boxes are rather fragile, so they are not ideal for gift-giving. However, they make wonderful holiday/party decorations -- just put a battery-operated tealight inside. (Never use real candles due to fire hazard.)
