| Comments: | Two types of double-sided paper were used to make this set of boxes. Both types have a floral design on one side and a geometric design on the reverse.
One type of paper has a traditional kanoko pattern, which resembles small dots within squares. The other paper features stylized waves -- a traditional design called seigaiha.
Double-sided paper yields the best looking results when constructing hexagonal boxes like those shown here. |
