| Comments: | Two different styles or boxes are shown here: Mark Bolitho's six-sided Pekoe box is in the center, with examples of his Matcha box on either side. These boxes are challenging to make but so beautiful!
Double-sided paper is essential because so much of the reverse side of the paper is revealed by both of these box styles.
The Pekoe is sturdy enough to be practical as well as decorative. The bottom of its base is just as lovely as the top of its lid.
The self-closing Matcha is less practical because getting it closed again after it has been opened is rather tricky. |
