| Comments: | This set of boxes includes two different styles.
The top row shows three boxes with picture frame lids. These are rather challenging to construct, but well worth the effort, since the frames greatly enhance whatever image or decoration is inserted within them.
Here the frames enclose an origami star decoration, also designed by Tomoko Fuse.
The bottom row contains two boxes with raised vanes on their lids. These vanes are decorative but also sturdy enough so that they can be used like a handle to lift the lid off the base. |
