| Comments: | The picture frame lids on these hexagonal boxes are rather challenging to construct, but well worth the effort, since these frames greatly enhance whatever image or decoration is inserted in them.
Here a motif of two koi fish is featured in the lid of one box and the other lids enclose an origami star decoration, also designed by Tomoko Fuse, with instructions/diagrams in the same book as the picture frame lids.
This set of boxes features both a simpler version of the star decoration and a slightly more complex variation (a whirling star). |
