| Comments: | Makoto Yamaguchi's design for these cute little boxes was included in a KidsToyo kit (005051A), but I used various types of origami paper, not paper from the kit, for the boxes shown here. I also made some of my own variation on Makoto's lid designs.
This set of boxes illustrates how easily the appearance of the Half-Sheet Flower can be altered by simply curling the petals inward or outward, or pinching the petals to give them pointed tips.
The 15 cm by 7.5 cm rectangular sheet of paper needed to fold each unit for this style of box can be obtained by cutting standard-size 15 cm square sheets in half. |
