Comments:All of these square boxes have lids which start with the basic steps in Tomoko Fuse's Plain Square Box design. Many different types of lids can be created from this starting point.

Each lid requires 4 sheets of paper. The hydrangea blossoms and the cranes are not made separately and then attached after the construction of the lid. Instead, these elements are an integral part of the lid itself.

Two of these boxes were made with Tomoko's Plain Square base, which requires 5 sheets of paper due to the use of an inner liner. The remaining boxes have other base designs which require only 4 sheets.
