No Glue UsedThis modular origami model was constructed entirely without the use of glue or any adhesive. The finished structure holds together securely because of how the units are interlocked by inserting a tab-like part of one unit into a slot or pocket of another.

This decorative item, which can be used as either a table center or a wall hanging, won a Blue Ribbon in the Papercrafting category at the 2019 Charlotte County Fair in Florida. I am calling this item a Takahama Tapestry because it is based on some of Toshie Takahama's designs for table centers and tapestries. However, I made a few modifications to her designs, including the insertion of additional smaller units in spots where there would otherwise have been empty spaces in the tapestry. Locking these extra units in place made the whole model sturdier for everyday use and also added some interesting elements to the back side of the tapestry. The back looks very different from the front but both sides are attractive, so this decoration could certainly be hung in a window.
